Dr. Maria Xenidou, VP Global Technology Management | Henkel Adhesive Technologies
In her current role, Maria is responsible to drive profitable growth of the general industrial adhesives business by managing technology from a commercial, business development, and innovation. Specifically, she defines the innovation strategy leveraging innovation created by internal R&D as well as open innovation via partnerships with suppliers, start-ups, incubators, academia as well business and marketing innovation. Maria has held various R&D roles for more than 15 years in the USA, Europe and Asia. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry and a Ph.D in Polymer Chemistry & Material Science from University of Athens, Greece. She completed additional postdoctoral studies in the USA at ExxonMobil Corporate Research & Engineering.
