Sandeep has over 25 years of aviation experience, much of which has been in the Asia Pacific Region. He has held key leadership roles in Sales and Marketing, In-flight services, Finance and Operations for a number of major carriers and has worked in India, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Maldives and China.
Sandeep is Chief Commercial Officer for MG Charter and Mega Maldives Airlines and Chief Airlines Adviser for Q&A Consulting of China. Earlier Sandeep worked for Air New Zealand as Vice President Asia Pacific and was Director – Hong Kong & China with Delta Air Lines (Northwest Airlines) where he was instrumental in driving sustainable growth, establishing strong industry and regulatory relationships, enlarge customer base, build Joint Venture partnerships and ensuring a seamless merger of Delta and Northwest.
Sandeep holds an MBA and post graduate degree from Oxford Brooks University in the U.K, as well as an undergraduate degree from the Institute of Hotel Management in New Delhi, India. He has also completed the China Managers Development Program from prestigious Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business in Beijing.
Sandeep is currently member of Australian Institute of Company’s Director and was Chairman of Board of Airline Representatives in China for last 5 years.
Sandeep is on board of several travel, logistics and tourism companies and has previously acted as International Advisory Chair in China for Travel Industry Association of USA and as Co-Chair of subcommittee on Aviation Economic Regulation – under US-China Aviation Cooperation Program.
