Mr. Wei Yang joined Qunar in March 2008 and was promoted to vice president in July 2011. He has been named as Executive Vice President of the Company and CEO of the Flight Group since November 2014.
Mr. Yang received dual bachelor’s degrees from Peking University in 2003. Mr. Yang started his career as a project manager with Shenzhen Airlines, in charge of revenue management, reforming, training, personnel management and market evaluation. He was then appointed as vice president of revenue management in 2006, responsible for freight management and e-business platform. The freight management system Mr. Yang developed during that period was praised and adopted by the airline industry leaders. At Qunar, Mr. Yang started as senior product manager, and was subsequently promoted to product director, senior director, and vice president before his appointment as manager of the Flight Business Unit. He has been responsible for air-ticket search, flight and hotel transaction systems, consumer and client support services. Currently, Mr. Yang is responsible for managing the entire Flight Group.
