Andrew Collins

Andrew Collins is the CEO & Founder of Mailman Group based in Shanghai.
In 2007, he acquired Mailman after moving to China from his native Melbourne, Australia. Following the acquisition, he transformed the business to a leading China Digital, Technology and Investment group supporting over 200 international brands, sporting organizations, personalities and investing into several startups. This included American Airlines, Citibank, Liverpool FC, Manchester United, NFL and Jawbone develop greater digital and social media strategies in China.

In 2012 Andrew partnered with China Branding Group to launch Fanstang.com, the ‘International celebrity social network connecting global stars with China’ that had since launched hollywood stars and musicians including Alicia Keyes, Avril Lavigne, Taylor Swift and more.

The next year, Andrew co-founded a company KAWO, a Chinese social media publishing application which gives access to brands and personalities from around the world to the Chinese market. KAWO has supported 100’s of clients access Chinese consumers through social and new media including FIVB, Macys, BrandUSA and more by publishing to Weibo & WeChat.

Ever the entrepreneur, in 2014 Andrew co-founded Shopilist, a social shopping application, which allows consumers to create, personalized shopping guides in cities all over the world.

Andrew has received a number of awards including Australia’s ‘2009 Top Entrepreneurs Under 30’, 2013 Finalist in Australia-China Alumni Awards, ‘Telstra’ Australian sponsored New Media Award (2010), FInalist 2014 Australia-China Business Awards for Entrepreneurship, Finalist 2015 Advance Global Australian Awards.

Andrew continues to support entrepreneurship through his involvement as a board member for the Global EO Organization, Shanghai Chapter, and contributing as a guest blogger to online business publications including Campaign Asia, FastCompany and Business Insider. He regularly attends international conferences and seminars as a public speaker in the field of Chinese Social Media, Digital Innovation and entrepreneurship.
